ART GUIDELINES:

Live Pink seeks art donations that are flat (with the exception of primarily flat embellishments) pieces of art, of any medium (painting, collage, fabric collage, drawing, stamping, photography, etc.) in any size as long as it is 5"x7" or SMALLER. Please do not donate larger pieces to the program.

While most charms, fibers and embellishments are fine - please do not donate artwork that is fragile, easily breakable, or has glass embellishments of any kind.

ATCs, art squared pieces, (Handmade) greeting cards, bookmarks, art tags, etc., are all acceptable.

Please do not include real animal feathers, or dried flowers or plants in your artwork. Bear in mind that this is an international program and the artwork needs to easily pass through customs, and all mailings need to comply with U.S. postal regulations. (Although some craft feathers and some dried flowers or plants may be permissible according to government or custom regulations, we prefer to not risk mailing delays due to confusion over these items.)

We suggest that you sign your art work legibly on the back of the piece of artwork, and if you want the recipient to have the option of contacting you - you may leave an email address on the back of your artwork, if you wish.

The theme, style, and subject matter is completely up to you, however we suggest you emphasize hope, healing, peace, strength, inspiration, etc. Please consider that these gifts are going to Breast Cancer patients and their families all over the world, and be sensitive to the fact that there is no way to know the political, personal, or spiritual beliefs of the recipients.

Note that the following artistic content is prohibited in the Live Pink art gift program:

Specific partisan political statements.
Religious commentary that overtly suggests a specific spiritual path to attain healing.
Nudity.
Profanity.
Predjudiced, bigoted or "hate" commentary of any kind.

Finally, note that close friends, family members and children are also eligible to receive Live Pink gifts of art. Artwork donations that are specifically geared towards family members or children are greatly appreciated.

You may donate your own artwork, or artwork by other artists from your personal collection.

Please only donate original or artist-signed limited edition artwork to this program

OTHER INFORMATION:

Please do not "gift wrap" your artwork. We do need to see the artwork prior to mailing it.

The ZNE Live Pink program is an entirely anonymous program, we are unable to direct your gift to any particular person or location for you or at your request. Further, we will not be able to provide you with a specific name or destination of/for your artwork once we mail it out. If possible, we will note which state it was mailed to, in the Live Pink galleries, once the art is mailed to a Live Pink recipient.

You may send in as many donations of art as you want, as often as you wish.

IMPORTANT: ZNE is a sole proprietorship . We are NOT a not-for-profit organization, and your art donation will not be tax deductible. If you have any questions about this, please consult your own accountant or tax attorney.

You will not receie a receipt for your artwork, however you will receive and email verifying that we have received it and we will scan it and add it to the Live Pink gallery.

MAILING DETAILS:

VERY IMPORTANT: Please include the following information with your art donation: Your name, mailing address, and email address, and whether or not you are the artist who created the art being donated. If any of the art being donated by you was not created by you - please specify who the artist is, if you know.
