Julee Herrmann is a Supporting Member and joined ZNE in the fall of 2006. She is a regular attendee at ZNE's Altered Everything - Everything Altered workshops, and her creativity and natural talent is often an inspiration to other attendees. Julee is known for playing with exploring contrasts in her artwork, finding something funny about a serious situation or finding the pure in a pig pen. She loves to play with all kinds of collage and altered art.
Julee lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and daughter, and a small heard of animals!. She is an artist, wife and mother, and counts herself as lucky enough to live in just the place she has always dreamed of and doing the work she's always wanted to do. In her own words - "I'm a Lucky, Lucky girl!"
Julee's goals for this year include making her first appearance in a local gallery. She has never sold a piece of her art work since she has been creating art as a hobby. She truly enjoys doing this artwork and hopes that she can somehow make a difference somewhere. The greatest compliment she has ever received is that she has inspired someone. And though her work has not yet been put up for public scrutiny, she looks forward to putting her work up along side other talented ZNE artists.
