Any Member of ZNE or ACEO may participate in the monthly K.I.S workshop.

 

The workshop takes place on the eBay ACEO Group borads, which are public and free to join.

Who can participate?

Any ACEO member! It is not necessary to be a ZNE Member to participate!

How will I know how to create my collage?


Chelise Stroud Hery, the founder of ZNE - and/or ZNE Guest instuctors will break the process down into five easy steps, and every participant will have an entire week to complete each step!

How will I know what supplies to use?

Each week, our workshop will include suggested supply lists and sources, so that you will know where and how to find everything you need. (Note that most of you already have these supplies just laying around the house or art studio!)

Where will I find copyright free image sources to use?

Each month, ZNE will provide you at least one and perhaps more copryight free collage image jpgs to use in your art. These images will be donated especially for this project from ZNE vendor members.

What will I do with my finished collage?


Oh, so many options! You can: Keep it, Gift it, Trade it, Sell it, or Toss it (and chalk it up to the continuing learning process.)

Note: The latter option is HIGHLY discouraged!

If I sell my collage, what can I put in my listing title?

Since this is ACEO, you can of course put ACEO in all your listing titles!

However, we do ask that you refrain from using ZNE in your listing title unless you are a ZNE Member. (ZNE membership is open to any interested artist through our member website at www. ZNEart. com).


If we sell our artwork on eBay, who do we credit?

Of course, you receive credit for creating your final piece of artwork! We do ask that if you use any of the images donated for the product that you include a credit line somewhere in your listing that reads:

Credit for the image used in this collage goes to ZNE Member [name goes here]. See eBay id [eBay id goes here] for more great images!

Further, whether you are a ZNE member or not, ZNE would greatly appreciate it if you would use the logo for this project shown at the top of this page, somewhere in your listing, along with the text:

"The ZNE ACEO K.I.S. Workshop is a monthly collage project sponsored by ZNE and provided on the ACEO group boards here on eBay. Join ACEO or ZNE to find out more, and/or join us for next month's Workshop."

What does K.I.S. stand for?

Keep It Simple. (We left the last well known "s" off that acronym, because I don't like calling artists names!)

What are the rules for participating?


In general:

1. Sign up ahead of time. We will move forward with the workshop each month if there are at least 5 participants who can commit to completing the project. If there are not 5 participants, we'll take a break that month.

2. Check in on the monthly workshop thread at least once a week in order to keep up with the steps.

3. Upload an image of your artwork to date, as each step is completed, so that all of your fellow participants can see the different interpretations and creative output of their fellow K.I.S.ers.

4. If listing your K.I.S. workshop created artwork, remember to credit your image source if required, and please include the K.I.S. logo and verbiage - above.
